The Storm of Dirthober
By Robert Tabb

It was a day like no other
In the land of Dirthober
When the wind began to blow
The trees uprooted and
The bees sought shelter
As the rain started to flow
Crying with the night
I sought more insight
As my brain lost it's connection
The uplink died and
My motherboard fried
As if from a grave reaction
I tried to gain control
Of the system in my head
To avoid the costly loss of lives
They all ran under
Whatever they could muster
To insure that no one dies
Shocked by the thunder
Deafened by the lightning
Everyone wept and wept
Crying Crying Crying
Tears jeers fears
Up my insight krept

Out came the sun
In Dirthober that day
And it dried up all the rain
The wind stopped blowing and
The lightning stopped booming
Despite their intense disdain
My head was cleared
For good I hope
Of all the darkened clouds
The people were so happy
The harpy lit a match
They all made joyous sounds
